Are you enjoying your time at the festival, Ultimania? Good.
Now have a screechy megaphone and a greeting of "HEYA" interrupting it. Tidus looks all-too-pleased with himself, standing on top of a booth while both booth-owner and former-megaphone-holder look up at him with displeasure. He looks down for only a sheepish chuckle before focusing on his message again.
"You guys know what this festival is missing? A blitzball game! If you haven't heard of it, it's only the best game ever." He jabs an outstretched thumb over his shoulder to point out a direction. "I'm gonna set up down by the other beach, so come join me, if you're not--whoa, whoa!"
...Oh, look at that. The booth-owner got him down...'gently'. Rescue him?
Even without help he'll eventually escape and head down to one of Bodhum's other beaches. Away from the main activity of the festival, it's quieter and ideal for swimming, surfing, or even a small game of volleyball. Of course Tidus, bouncing his blitzball back and forth between head, knees and feet, is looking to play a different sport. But let's be honest: how many people are going to be able to hold their breath for five minutes while learning a new sport?
[ ooc: feel free to tag other people in this post! I'll be tagging around with Tidus too, but I wanted to set up a quieter setting for more ordinary beach activities.and the beach was just begging for someone to try getting a blitzball game going. ]

"Hey!" She calls out, waving wildly at the blonde kid as she jogs up. "What's blitzball, and how do you play? Do you get prizes?"
Yuffie's guiding star - always with the prizes.

...Luckily there's a natural wall to stop it not too far away, he's not going to send it flying into the atmosphere like he did in Besaid.
He lands in a kneel, laughing slightly as he stands back up, and then rubs the back of his head as he considers her other question. "Usually the tournaments do have prizes. But it's kinda just me here. I don't have anything to hand out!"

He is saying a lot of words, though, and she can't exactly picture just what he's trying to go for. Her interested, though, is still there even when she hears there is no prize.
"I have no idea what you're talking about," she says bluntly, shrugging. "But sounds fun! Can I see that ball?"
She wants to try her hand at kicking it while doing some kind of trick. She really just can't help herself.

Catching the ball, she investigates it - why was it so bumpy? Weeiirrdd - then drops it down, fully intending on kicking it into the air.
She misses, though, and with a scowl she kicks the stationary ball as hard as she can toward the wall. When it bounces back, she sort of flings herself to the side to try to catch it, barely doing so.
"How the heck did you do that flippy kicky thing?" Yuffie's good about acrobatic type things, but she needs to know how to kick a ball first it seems.
went slightly braindead on Tidus, haha
He watches Yuffie's movements, though he sighs just a little when she lets the ball drop to the sand. He's probably not rounding up a team here.
"Practice. I've been playing blitzball since I was a kid! You should... probably work on normal shots first, before you try doing tricks like that." His tone's a bit more sheepish as he says the second part, because no one likes hearing that, but it's true.

Not really blitzball related tricks, though. More along the lines of acrobats. But she sighs loudly, jogging after the ball to fetch it. Setting it on the ground, she studies the ball, then kicks it hard enough to bounce off the wall. This time she manages to get in front of its return, kicking it again while she talks to him.
"So this is played between two teams and you said something about a sphere. What kind of sphere?" Guess who hasn't imagined holding her breath for longer than a couple of seconds?

"In the water, where else!" Spheres are three-dimensional after all, and they can't exactly fly. "It's not a sphere like the stadiums, but the ocean works for training. Just have to mind the current." He folds his arms behind his head, looking at her. "You... are a good swimmer, right?" If her swimming was like her kicking, he probably shouldn't be trying to drag her out in the ocean.
